Aston Priority Simatupang Celebrates 10th Anniversary with Rp32 Million Donation to BAZNAS: A Heartfelt Commitment to Social Responsibility

BISNISTIME.COM, JAKARTA -- Wednesday May 28, 2025 – Aston Priority Simatupang Hotel & Conference Center marked a decade of its journey with a truly meaningful celebration. Coinciding with its 10th anniversary, this five-star hotel symbolically presented a donation of Rp32,000,000 (thirty-two million rupiah) to the National Amil Zakat Agency (BAZNAS). The donation handover took place on Wednesday, May 7, 2025, in the Aston Priority Simatupang hotel ballroom, reinforcing the hotel's strong commitment to social responsibility.

This remarkable donation is the result of outstanding collaboration and care from both the hotel management and loyal guests. From March to April 2025, Aston Priority Simatupang raised funds through two flagship programs: "Berbuka Dengan Kebaikan" (Breaking Fast with Kindness) and "Stay For Good." A portion of the funds collected from guests enjoying these special Iftar (fast-breaking) and room packages was fully allocated to the BAZNAS donation.

In addition, the creative "Lelang Sedekah Kamar" (Room Charity Auction) initiative, broadcast live via the @astonsimatupang and @baznasindonesia Instagram accounts, also became a significant source of donations. All proceeds from this room auction, without any deductions, were also contributed 100% through BAZNAS, demonstrating full transparency and dedication in the fundraising effort.

The process of collecting and distributing this donation was carried out meticulously and with careful planning. The collected funds had been transferred by the hotel management to BAZNAS' official account on April 30, 2025, a week before the symbolic handover. This highlights Aston Priority Simatupang's efficiency and commitment in fulfilling the trust of the donors.

Andi Gevika Rizki, General Manager of Aston Priority Simatupang Hotel & Conference Center, expressed his gratitude for the success of this fundraising effort. "Alhamdulillah, we have collected as much as 32 million. Thank you to all our guests who have trusted us to hold their fast-breaking events at Aston Priority Simatupang with the 'Berbuka Dengan Kebaikan' program and stayed with us through the 'Stay For Good' program. Of course, we managed to collect that much donation because of our guests," he said enthusiastically.

He also added details of their program's success. "In total, during March 2025, there were 5,745 people who broke their fast at Aston Priority Simatupang, and we also held a room auction for charity as an additional donation. On this 10th-anniversary celebration, it is a great journey for us, and we hope we can continue to contribute to the community," Andi Gevika Rizki concluded.
