The day began with an educational session on the importance of environmental conservation, followed by a series of hands-on activities. Students learned about the impact of small actions on the environment, such as proper waste disposal. They also participated in a creative upcycling workshop, transforming used paper cups into colorful and imaginative decorations for their classroom.
A highlight of the event was a gardening activity where students planted edible plants. This not only taught them about the importance of sustainable food sources but also encouraged them to appreciate nature and the value of green spaces.
"We believe that it's crucial to educate young people about the environment and empower them to become agents of change," said Irwin Ramadhan, a representative from Ascott Limited Indonesia. "By working together with Food Bank of Indonesia, we can make a significant impact on the future of our planet."
Wijang, a representative from Food Bank of Indonesia, echoed these sentiments, stating, "Early education is key to fostering a generation that cares about the environment. We are proud to partner with Ascott Limited on this inspiring initiative."
Through this program, Ascott Limited and Food Bank of Indonesia hope to inspire more people to join the movement towards a more sustainable future.
