BISNISTIME.COM, JAKARTA, INDONESIA – Sunday May 4, 2025 – The highly anticipated annual Tekiro Mechanic Competition 2025 recently concluded its exciting final rounds at the Tekiro Office in Jakarta (April 26-27). This prestigious automotive skills competition generated tremendous enthusiasm among vocational high school (SMK) students and teachers across Java. An astounding number of over 80,000 registrations were recorded, highlighting the burning passion for the automotive world among the younger generation.

This year, a remarkable 84,297 students from 506 automotive vocational schools throughout Java participated in the competition organized by PT Altama Surya Anugerah through its Tekiro brand. This fantastic level of participation firmly establishes the Tekiro Mechanic Competition as one of the largest SMK automotive competitions in Indonesia.

More than just a skills showdown, this event served as a valuable platform for students majoring in Light Vehicle Engineering (TKR) and Motorcycle Business Engineering (TBSM) to sharpen their abilities. Participants not only gained invaluable experience but also competed for total prizes worth hundreds of millions of Rupiah in cash and workshop equipment from Tekiro. Furthermore, the winners received trophies, certificates, and a fast track to employment at B-Quik Auto Service.

Novitasari, Brand Marketing Manager of Tekiro Tools, emphasized that this competition acts as a stage for showcasing talent and a tangible contribution from Tekiro to enhance the quality of automotive education and prepare young, competitive workers.

The journey to the final round was an engaging one. Starting with an online preliminary stage, the top 30 schools were selected to battle it out in the semifinal. At this stage, participants' theoretical knowledge and practical skills were rigorously tested. Ultimately, the final round became a proving ground for technical presentation skills and live engine troubleshooting in front of expert judges.

After a series of intense competition stages, the champions of the 2025 Tekiro Mechanic Competition across Java are:

• Champion: SMK Negeri 8 Kabupaten Tangerang
• 1st Runner-Up: SMK Negeri 2 Wonosari Yogyakarta
• 2nd Runner-Up: SMK Negeri 4 Jakarta
• 1st Hopeful Winner: SMK Negeri 2 Kebumen
• 2nd Hopeful Winner: SMK Negeri 1 Magelang
• 3rd Hopeful Winner: SMK Negeri 26 Jakarta

Stephanus Santoso, Deputy Director of PT Altama Surya Anugerah, expressed his hope that this competition would be a valuable experience and a positive step in elevating the skills of automotive SMK students in Java.
