BISNISTIME.COM, DEPOK – Friday (08/11/2024) – In the city of Depok, there’s a unique and inspiring women’s community known as the Metic Gaul Club (MGC). Established on September 20, 2009, MGC consists of 32 resilient women who share a common passion: riding motorbikes. Led by Bunda Santi, with Bunda Kiki as the secretary, this community has become a supportive space for camaraderie and connection among women in Depok.
The members of MGC frequently organize gatherings, including regular social meet-ups, motorbike tours, and hangouts at local cafés, with Café Warkop Berkah in Abdul Wahab Sawangan being a particular favorite. Yet, MGC is much more than just fun outings and social gatherings. Behind their relaxed vibe and playful slang, the group often engages in meaningful activities, particularly those that involve humanitarian outreach and charitable contributions.
One of MGC’s core initiatives is giving back to the community through donation drives and social actions. MGC regularly collects donations to support people in need, especially those from underprivileged backgrounds. Through these efforts, the club seamlessly blends the joy of riding and socializing with a genuine commitment to social care and loyalty to their community.
For its members, MGC is like a second family, offering both emotional support and a network of friends. “We’re not just here for touring or hanging out; we’re here to support each other and give back,” expressed Bunda Santi. This spirit of solidarity makes MGC a standout community in Depok.
Through its variety of positive activities, the Metic Gaul Club continues to show that women can stay vibrant and stylish while making a tangible difference. This community serves as an inspiring example of how unity and solidarity can be powerful forces for spreading kindness in society.
