BISNISTIME.COM, BOGOR, Indonesia – January 26, 2025 – Taman Safari Indonesia’s Enchanting Valley took a significant step towards environmental conservation on January 22nd, organizing a community cleanup of the Ciliwung River. Partnering with local authorities and residents, the event aimed to raise awareness about the importance of preserving our waterways and foster a sense of community responsibility.
As one of Java’s most vital rivers, the Ciliwung faces numerous challenges, including pollution and flooding. Enchanting Valley’s initiative marked a significant effort to address these issues and restore the river’s ecological balance. The event involved volunteers from three nearby villages who joined forces to remove over 500 kilograms of trash from the riverbanks.
In addition to the cleanup, Enchanting Valley also planted 14 trees of various species, including soursop, avocado, guava, and duku. This initiative aims to strengthen the local ecosystem, improve air quality, and enhance the overall beauty of the area.

“We are committed to making this an annual event,” said Agus Santoso, Board of Director of Taman Safari Indonesia Group. “By working together with the community, we can create a lasting positive impact on our environment.”
This community cleanup aligns with Taman Safari Indonesia’s broader commitment to conservation and sustainability. The company has been at the forefront of wildlife conservation efforts in Indonesia for over four decades, operating six locations and four resorts across the archipelago.
