BISNISTIME.COM, JAKARTA CITY — Saturday March 1, 2025 – PT Sharp Electronics Indonesia has announced its sights are set on achieving a 105% sales growth in 2025, following a year of exceptional performance in 2024. The company reported a staggering Rp 12 trillion in sales, marking a 104.8% increase compared to the previous year, demonstrating its strong foothold and optimism in the Indonesian electronics market.
This impressive growth was largely driven by Sharp’s flagship products, including refrigerators, air conditioners, and washing machines, which have successfully met the demands of Indonesian consumers. The Small Home Appliances (SHA) category also experienced significant growth.
Sharp has solidified its market leadership with impressive market share figures: 32.3% for refrigerators, 22.9% for washing machines, and 24.3% for air conditioners. These numbers reflect the growing trust and confidence of Indonesian consumers in Sharp products.

Andry Adi Utomo, Senior General Manager of PT Sharp Electronics Indonesia, attributed this success to effective marketing strategies, including expanding into the commercial sector such as hotels, cafes, and restaurants, in addition to focusing on the retail market. Sharp has also introduced innovative products, such as black-colored AC units designed for the growing cafe market.
Customer satisfaction remains a top priority for Sharp Indonesia, which boasts an extensive and reliable after-sales service network. With over 600 service points across Indonesia and support from approximately 10,000 dealers and sub-dealers, Sharp ensures prompt and professional service for its customers. The company’s promotional campaigns span various platforms, from traditional above-the-line and below-the-line marketing to digital campaigns that leverage social media and online marketing platforms.
With a strong foundation and well-defined strategies, Sharp is committed to continuous growth and delivering innovative products to Indonesian consumers. The company is confident that its strategies will enable it to maintain its leading position in the Indonesian market.
